Language Buddy / CSI

Full Stack Engineer

An AI-powered, LMS-integrated learning platform that I helped develop and evolve from "Language Buddy" into "CSI" (Content Sharing & Integration) — a scalable, multi-tenant solution built to support multiple educational institutions and organizations with tenant-specific content, access control, and sharing capabilities. The platform integrates deeply with major Learning Management Systems and layers AI on top of content and learning workflows.

Key contributions

  • Developed and enhanced LTI 1.3 integrations with Canvas, Moodle, and Blackboard for seamless LMS authentication, launches, content integration, and learning workflows.
  • Contributed to the migration and evolution of the platform from the initial Language Buddy architecture to the scalable CSI multi-tenant architecture.
  • Built frontend features with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, TypeScript, and Pinia, and backend services with Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
  • Implemented multi-tenant authorization and content-sharing workflows — create, view, edit, duplicate, and share — based on organization and user permissions.
  • Developed REST APIs and backend services for content management, LMS integration, authentication, and platform workflows.
  • Integrated AWS serverless services including Lambda, S3, CloudFront, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge to support a scalable application architecture.
